Only Friends by Lydia San Andres

Only Friends by Lydia San Andres is a romance novel about aspiring screenwriter Mariel Rivera and model Dashwood Bennet, whose creative partnership sparks an attraction that could put both their work and their hearts at risk.

After losing her day job, getting ghosted, and battling writer’s block, aspiring screenwriter Mariel Rivera is barely holding it together. Then a handsome model in Regency costume comes to her rescue in Times Square—and gives her a very unexpected spark of inspiration.

Dashwood Bennet has spent years in front of the camera, but he never expected to become the face of Mariel’s spicy historical shorts. As the perfect Duke of Harding, Dash is ready to bring her fictional hero to life—and turn their creative partnership into something decidedly more intimate.

Their chemistry is undeniable, but working together and falling for each other could be a risky combination. Can Mariel and Dash find their happily ever after, or will their partnership leave them both heartbroken?
