Everything is falling into place except that the best man is the guy Olivia almost kissed in high school ten years ago. One heart stopping glance from Jake turns her world topsy turvy. In the next instant she and Jake are married and she finds herself in a whole new reality.

Though quirky at times, this story touches on the impact of first impressions and the beauty of second chances.  Olivia learns that sometimes the path we didn't choose can lead us to unexpected happiness. After all, what's meant to be will always find a way. This story was a great reminder that our perspective can easily alter the course of our lives. When we make assumptions based on our own thoughts and feelings we are robbing the people around us the chance to speak their truth.
